Membership Meeting luncheon
HOW PREPARED ARE YOU? HOW PREPARED ARE YOUR CO-WORKERS?
Approximately 5% of all sudden cardiac arrests each year occur at a place of work. Every 7 seconds someone is hurt on the job. Choking, slips and falls, strokes – ALL of these things CAN HAPPEN at work. What would you do? What would your co-workers do if it happened to you? Join us on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 as the Forest Park Fire Department provides us with a “CRASH-COURSE” on First Aid training, CPR, Heimlich Maneuver and much more that you and your co-workers can use to be more prepared if something were to happen in your office (or at home) and hopefully aid in saving a life. Most people spend more time at their place of employment than they do awake at home—wouldn’t you want to be prepared for the helping and/or being the recipient of help?
